Games deserving of a primetime spot for the Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs at Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are about to have the biggest turnaround in sports history. Mark my words. That doesn’t mean playoffs, not yet. It does mean the Browns you and I are used to are no more. Tyrod Taylor can give the Browns an 8-8 season this year, it’s more than possible. Eight wins would be twice as much as they’ve had in the last three seasons.

The Browns have only mustered up two winning seasons since playing football again in 1999. This game has some personal flair to it as well. Many Browns fans are upset that they passed on Patrick Mahomes, as well as every other decent quarterback since ’99. The biggest storyline here though is the Browns’ general manager.

John Dorsey was fired before the season started for reasons unknown to everyone. Brett Veach has been a fantastic replacement, but Dorsey has been very good at what he does for a very long time. The additions of Carlos Hyde and Jarvis Landry should add a couple wins as is. If Cleveland grabs a quarterback early, then that could place a match up against two young quarterbacks trying to prove themselves.
