Kansas City Chiefs: Replacing Bob Sutton

#5 Chris Wilson: DL Coach – Eagles

This is a name that most Kansas City Chiefs fans probably aren’t that familiar with. However, Chris Wilson has been around for a long time, though mostly in the college ranks. Wilson joined Doug Pederson in Philly last year, and has done a great job with the defensive line. That is something the Chiefs could absolutely use.

Chris Wilson may have spent most of his time in the college ranks, but his resume includes some of the top programs: USC, Oklahoma, Georgia, and even Missouri. His connection to Kansas City via Doug Pederson could also be a source of some good insider info on him. Most importantly though, is that he’s done well with the Eagles defensive line.

Sure, the Eagles boast some great defensive line talent, but it’s not as though the Chiefs don’t have any. I’d like to see a defensive coordinator who can get the most out of the KC front line. Chris Wilson has a long history of working with talented players, so he may be a very good fit.
