SIT ‘EM

Quarterback. Falcons. Matt Ryan. 1. player. 44.

Matt Ryan has a ton to play for this weekend, arguably the most out of any other NFL team. If his Birds win on Sunday against Carolina, they’re the six-seed in the playoffs and will likely head to Los Angeles to face the Rams.

If the Falcons lose, however, then their postseason dreams are probably dashed. Well, assuming the Seahawks win against the Cardinals.

With so much to play for, why bench Ryan in week 17? Well, he’s playing the Panthers, who have a great defense. Ryan has taken a huge step back this year after an MVP 2016 campaign and he’s no longer a quarterback to put a lot of stock into when it comes to fantasy match-ups.

Keep Matt Ryan on the bench in week 17.
