Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 16
SIT ‘EM
While Rishard Matthews has been picking up some steam as of late, he’s not a good starting option for week 16. His big stat line last week came against a bad 49ers defense and he won’t have that same type of success against the Rams.
Matthews had nearly 100 yards receiving last week in San Francisco and in week 11, went for over 100 against the Steelers. Aside from those two performances, Matthews has been mostly disappointing in 2017, as have the Titans as a whole.
Tennessee was supposed to take the next step this year and win the AFC South. Instead, they’re unlikely to win the division and are still fighting like crazy just to make the postseason.
Don’t count on Matthews to be a superstar in week 16 even with some good performances recently. This is a bust week waiting to happen.
