START ‘EM

1. player. 87. . Quarterback. Panthers. Cam Newton

This season hasn’t been as electric for Cam Newton and there have certainly been weeks where benching him was a smart idea. This week, however, Newton is a good play against a weak Packers defense.

The Packers allowed DeShone Kizer and the Cleveland Browns to make a game of of it last week. Of course ,the Browns remained winless, but not the point.

Newton and his Panthers are still battling for the division title and if they win out, it could be theirs. He’s going to pick apart this Packers defense, which according to Michael Fabiano of NFL.com,

"Their defense has allowed an average of 20.2 fantasy points per game to signal-callers on the road."

Yeah, Newton is a QB1 option this week for sure.
