Sterling Shepard is now a reliable option again, as Eli Manning is back at quarterback for the Giants. The Giants have very little to play for at this point, but they’re facing the Cowboys this weekend and any chance the G-Men have to knock off their division rival, they’ll be all about it.
Teams can pass on the Cowboys defense.
Shepard didn’t do a whole lot in his return to action last week, catching just three passes for 56 yards in a New York loss. That was with Geno Smith as his quarterback though.
With the top receivers out for the Giants, Manning doesn’t have many other options to throw the ball to other than Shepard and tight end Evan Engram. Teams can pass on the Cowboys defense, so expect Manning to connect with Shepard frequently throughout the day.
