Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 12

Josh McCown surprised us all earlier this season when he and the Jets actually got off to a nice start and had a winning record. Now, however, the Jets are what they are, and that’s a “meh” football team.

McCown was on a tear for a few weeks where the journeyman quarterback was throwing multiple touchdowns a game. He hasn’t thrown for more than one touchdown since week eight against the Falcons.

In other words, I don’t see McCown impressing this week against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers have a very good defense and one that the Jets probably aren’t going to do much against.

McCown is still a nice backup option to have (though now that the bye weeks are over, you can probably be without his services on your bench), but the chances of him getting back to that midseason status is unlikely.
