The Redskins suffered a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Saints last Sunday, but it wasn’t Kirk Cousins‘ fault. He threw for 322 yards and three touchdowns in the Big Easy and proved he’s worthy of a big contract.

Cousins gets to square off with the Giants this week and should take full advantage of how poorly that defense has played (except for last week, of course). According to Michael Fabiano of NFL.com, Cousins has posted over 20 points in six of his last eight games and is becoming a staple in everyone’s fantasy lineups.

Cousins should provide a happy Thanksgiving for those that start him and if you don’t, you might be kicking yourself on Friday morning. Start Cousins and watch the points roll in.
