Wooo! Starting things off with a bang here, aren’t I?
I could have told all of you to start an obvious quarterback, but I decided to go off the rails a bit and suggest Ryan Fitzpatrick as a starting quarterback for week 11. Is Ryan Fitzpatrick anybody’s first choice? No, definitely not.
What Fitzpatrick is, however, a guy who, at the very least, can put up solid garbage time points for you. Garbage time is just that in the NFL, but in fantasy football, it counts and it very well can be the difference between a close victory and a loss.
Fitzpatrick faces the Dolphins this week, who gave up four touchdowns to Cam Newton last week and before that got shellacked by Joe Flacco and Ryan Mallett. Fitzpatrick is capable of making big plays and that’s why he’s a solid choice to throw in as your QB1 this week.
