Fantasy Football 2017: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 8
START ‘EM
At this point, a good strategy in fantasy football is to pick up whatever top receiver is facing the Kansas City Chiefs. The reason for that is that the Chiefs secondary is horrendous and that wideout should have himself a jolly good time.
Last week, Amari Cooper, who had been struggling all season long, went off for over 200 yards and multiple touchdowns. Demaryius Thomas of the Broncos might not have as good of a quarterback as Cooper, but you’d be foolish not to start Thomas this week.
With one side of the Chiefs secondary being nearly invisible, Thomas will put up points this week. His nine-yard performance in Los Angeles last week was frustrating for his fantasy owners, but expect those numbers to increase mightily in week eight.
Demaryius Thomas should start to rack up the kind of points fantasy football owners expected when they drafted him.
