GOOD: OFFENSIVE LINE

After a week in which they gave up four sacks to the Washington Redskins, the KC Chiefs offensive line came to play in week five! The most impressive part of that is the fact that the Chiefs were down two starting linemen in Mitch Morse (center) and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (right guard).

Zach Fulton got the start at center and Cameron Erving made his first Chiefs start at right guard. Both guys did a great job, and the line as a whole worked well together, only allowing Alex Smith to be sacked once.

Mitchell Schwartz had the best game out of anyone on that offensive line. The guy has it tough, having to play right tackle in the AFC West, but he held his own against J.J. Watt and that fiery Texans defense.

I was really nervous about this Chiefs o-line going into this game, but they did a great job. I was very optimistic about the trade for Erving even though things didn’t work out for him in Cleveland and was excited to see him have a nice game.

Good job, guys!
