START ‘EM

Tight End. Packers. Martellus Bennett. 3. player. 49.

This one might seem odd, as Martellus Bennett has yet to really have a “coming out” party yet for the Packers, but doesn’t that just make it seem all the more likely that it’s bound to happen soon? Bennett has become Green Bay’s primary tight end and Aaron Rodgers is going to try to get him the football as much as possible.

Bennett hasn’t made much of an impact so far, only grabbing 11 catches for 102 yards and no touchdowns. He’s going up against a Chicago team this Thursday that has a lot of inexperience in the secondary. Bennett should feed off that.

With Rodgers’ other slew of weapons, it’s tough for Bennett to get a whole lot of targets, but his breakout party for the Packers will be coming soon and it very well could be this Thursday night against the Bears. Last year, Bennett got off to a slow start, but soon became one of the best tight ends in the entire league.

Start Martellus Bennett on Thursday if he’s on your team.
