UGLY: INJURIES

Injuries happen in football, it’s just a fact of life. It’s scary how many have occurred already for not just the Kansas City Chiefs, but for all NFL teams. The Chiefs had some big injuries during this game and it’s definitely something to keep an eye on.

Dee Ford left the game and didn’t return. He suffered a hip injury near the end of the game.

Ford wasn’t the only one to get banged up. De’Anthony Thomas was injured and there was a scary moment when Cairo Santos was hit while kicking a field goal. The Chiefs got a first down after that, but you never want to see your kicker take any type of shot while kicking.

It’s a long season, but the Chiefs have already suffered some big injuries. Let’s hope the aforementioned guys can get healthy and that the rest of the team can stay away from the injury bug as well.
