. . . OFFENSIVE LINE. D+

The offensive line was pretty offensive in this game (ha!) and the biggest reason being that they allowed Alex Smith to get sacked four times. While this same unit gave up three sacks the week prior, they looked a lot more troubled in week two.

Eric Fisher looked lost out there at the left tackle spot and Bryan Witzmann had a rough day at the left guard position. The offensive line wasn’t able to help Kareem Hunt out much with the run game (at least not in the first half) and struggled to keep Smith upright.

This was a tough Eagles defensive front, but the Chiefs are in a division filled with prolific pass rushers (Von Miller, Khalil Mack, and Joey Bosa next week to name a few), so this line has to start gelling and getting that chemistry figured out. Allowing Smith to be sacked four times in another game could be extremely costly.

It’s also a dagger to the heart knowing that center Mitch Morse could miss some time. Zach Fulton looked good filling in, but Morse is such a big part of that offensive line. It’ll be tough not seeing him in on the action.
