GOOD: ALEX SMITH

A lot of people will be eating crow for the next week because Alex Smith outplayed Tom Brady. You read that right. Alex “Dink and Dunk” Smith outplayed Mr. Five Time Super Bowl Champion on Thursday. OH MAN WAS IT FUN TO WATCH!!!!

[Smith] had a hell of a game and this goes down as one of his best not only as a Chief, but ever in his career.

Smith went 28 of 35 for 368 yards and four (count ’em: FOUR) touchdowns. He was firing on all cylinders with this offense and looked like a whole new man out there.

Some people speculated that Smith might now have a fire lit under him due to the drafting of Patrick Mahomes and if that’s the case, then why didn’t this team draft a first round quarterback sooner? Shoot, we could have had this type of play the last four years?!

No just kidding, but Smith did look great. The fact that he outplayed Tom Brady is the biggest takeaway from this game because I doubt many people expected that to happen.

Props to Alex Smith, man. He had a hell of a game and this goes down as one of his best not only as a Chief, but ever in his career. Did I mention that he and I were on the same flights to and from Las Vegas? Because that’s a thing that happened last summer.
