TOP 15 DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET IN 2017 – NUMBER 1: TED GINN JR.

One of the next best things to having Tom Brady as your quarterback is to have Drew Brees throwing passes your way. That’s what Ted Ginn Jr. signed up for when he inked a deal with the New Orleans Saints this offseason.

Ginn had spent the previous two seasons with the Carolina Panthers and last year caught 54 passes for 752 yards and four touchdowns. The season prior Ginn had ten touchdowns, which definitely played a part in the Panthers going 15-1 in the regular season.

Now Ginn is headed to the Big Easy and while he won’t be a starter, he’ll get plenty of targets from Drew Brees. Michael Thomas and Willie Snead are going to be the likely starters for the Saints, but Brees loves to spread the football around, meaning Ginn will see his fair share of action on the gridiron.

I think Ted Ginn Jr. is the best deep sleeper option out there because a lot of people forget that he’s in New Orleans and some people forget that he’s in the league all together. Ginn has the opportunity, however, to do some real damage in New Orleans with Brees as his quarterback and I think both sides will benefit here.

Ginn is someone you could even draft, but I would wait until the last few rounds. He could be someone worth taking before a kicker though, that’s for sure.
