Toughest Games for K-State Football in 2017 – Number 1: Oklahoma State

The toughest game for the Kansas State Wildcats in 2017 is against the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and it’ll be so tough that KSU will likely lose it. Oklahoma State is getting major hype this season and without a doubt deserve it all. According to the OSU DieHards, the team isn’t going to shy away from that hype.

Not only does OSU have a balanced attack on offense, but their defense is no slouch either. On offense, the Cowboys have Mason Rudolph at quarterback. Rudolph threw for over 4,000 yards a year ago and is going to have another great season in Stillwater. Lee Corso even thinks Rudolph could win the Heisman Trophy.

James Washington is one of Rudolph’s best weapons and is major part of that fire power. He’s almost impossible to cover, so good luck to the Wildcat secondary. This very well could be a shoot out, but eventually Oklahoma State will pull away in the second half and the Cats will suffer their first loss of the season.

Let’s just hope the one loss doesn’t damage their College Football Playoff chances down the stretch.
