As the Kansas City Chiefs progress through the preseason, the perceived value of many players on the roster will change. Here’s our second stock report.

We are halfway through the Kansas City Chiefs preseason schedule, and the picture is becoming much more clear as to what kind of team this will be. The Chiefs have looked pretty impressive early on in preseason action. We knew this was a talented roster, and so far they are living up to the billing. This week’s stock report reflects that.

All in all, it was a dominant performance for the Kansas City Chiefs, especially the starters. There were some hiccups late in the game, but nothing that is overly concerning. By and large, this appears to be a team that is going to perform very well during the 2017 season.

Of course, the big news this week is that Patrick Mahomes performed well again. The rookie quarterback still has some things to iron out, but fans have to be excited about the promise he’s showing. If the Chiefs have indeed found their quarterback of the future, this team may be good for a very long time.

Very Few Bumps

With the exception of only a few spots, the Kansas City Chiefs played a dominant game this weekend. The starters set an early tone that showed them to simply be a better team than the Bengals. Of course, that doesn’t mean there aren’t things that can’t be improved. No team is without its warts.

Fortunately for Kansas City, most of the areas still left uncertain are with the depth. For the most part, the starters are all set and ready to go. That’s good news as there are many teams still trying to figure things out with their starting lineups. It gives the Chiefs an advantage over the rest of the league.

Here is this week’s stock report…
