#10 Carolina Panthers

The secondary in Carolina is still a bit of a question, but the front seven is one of the best in the business for Fantasy Football owners. The Panthers defense is captained by one of the best playmakers in the NFL in Luke Kuechly. As long as they are on the attack, everything is good. The question is how often will that be?

2016 Ranking: 13th

There really isn’t that big of a difference between being the 13th and 10th ranked defense in Fantasy Football. I see improvement from this unit as a whole, but not enough to be a huge factor in how they finish. This group should be able to shut down the run though, and that’s a strong factor.

If Cam Newton and the offense can put points on the board and keep the defense from being worn out, you could see Carolina finish even stronger than this. However, I’m not sure that’s something that can happen for the Panthers. Expect this defense to get some work.
