PETER MOYLAN

Peter Moylan was off to a hot start for the Royals, but he hasn’t been nearly as effective lately. In fact, Moy-lo has the second to worst ERA on the entire roster with a 7.62 in 13 innings. He was one of the most reliable arms early on, but got blasted in his last outing.

That outing saw Moylan surrender five runs off of three hits in only one inning of work. Now granted, four of those runs came off of the grand slam he gave up, but still… He gave up a grand slam and that’s worth noting.

Moylan is one of the older guys on the team, sitting at 38 years old. He wasn’t anything special last season, but he was one of the more entertaining guys on the team. When the Royals re-signed him this past offseason, it wasn’t a huge deal, but it was a familiar face among a bunch of new guys in the bullpen.

I’ve haven’t really included Peter Moylan on my list of players to watch, but I included him here because it’ll be interesting to see how he bounces back after a rough outing in Tampa.
