Go Bowling 400 Top 15 Racers To Watch – #4

Jimmie Johnson – No. 48 Chevrolet: Hendrick Motorsports

The seven-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion is always a driver to watch, and that’s no different at the Go Bowling 400. Jimmie Johnson won this race in 2015, and has a pair of victories at the Hollywood Casino 400 that is also held at Kansas Speedway. So he is no stranger to success on this track.

Jimmie Johnson is currently second in the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings, largely on the strength of his wins at Texas and Bristol. Johnson hasn’t been as dominant this year as one might expect. Yes, he has a pair of wins, but only a total of four finishes in the top ten.

Johnson knows what it takes to get into the NASCAR postseason. Grabbing another win would close the gap between him and Brad Keselowski in the standings, and you know Johnson will like the sound of that.

Westgate odds: 6-1
