KC Chiefs: Report Card Vs San Diego Chargers in Week 17
When the KC Chiefs were down 24-3 against the Chargers in the first game of the season, many thought the season could already be over. We should have known this season would be special when Alex Smith and company led the biggest comeback in Chiefs history.
Sitting at 2-2 at the bye week in week five, it seemed crazy to think that the Kansas City Chiefs would work their way up the division ladder, as both the Raiders and Broncos were doing work.
The Chiefs would only lose two games in their final 12 games and pulled out some crazy victories. It was just the type of season that made you think something special had to be on the horizon, and we’re hopefully approaching that.
As we all remember with the Royals, their 2014 season was magical. They were underdogs all season long, swept their opponents in the postseason, and made it all the way to Game 7 of the Wold Series that year. They’d go on to lose, of course, but that stemmed the dominant 2015 year they’d go on to have that ended with a World Series trophy in Kansas City.

Their loss to the Patriots in divisional round last year made everyone think “What if?” and now we’ll get to see them at mostly-full strength heading into the divisional round. If they advance to the AFC Championship Game, Chiefs Kingdom will be ecstatic.
What grades would you give the KC Chiefs in their season finale? Do you think they’ll go far in the playoffs?
