Good: Eric Berry

Eric Berry is the best!

He couldn’t just have a pick-six off of Matt Ryan, no. Berry had to outdo himself in the fourth quarter when the Falcons decided to go for two after taking the lead.

Ryan threw the ball right to Berry, who took the pick all the way down the field and got the Chiefs the lead. They ended up winning 29-28 thanks to that Berry pick-two (right?).

It’s looking increasingly difficult for the Kansas City Chiefs to make a case of not re-signing Eric Berry. This guy scored eight points for the Chiefs on Sunday and has shown that he’s the heart and soul of the defense.

The Chiefs might have to do whatever it takes to retain Berry in 2017 and beyond. He just keeps making plays and that’s all a team can ask for.

This was Berry’s first game in his hometown of Atlanta during his pro career and he made sure the fans knew who he was. It was also pretty cool to see him give the football to his mom in the stands. Special moment for sure.
