Can Chiefs Contain Winston and Evans

If the Kansas City Chiefs are to win this week, they need to shut down Mike Evans. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a lot of holes on their team, but the connection between Jameis Winston and Evans isn’t one of them. The star wide receiver is among the best in the league in multiple receiving categories.

Mike Evans will likely be lining up against Marcus Peters a lot. The Bucs like to use Evans on the right side of the formation, which is where the Chiefs line up Peters. This will be yet another tough test for Marcus Peters in 2016. So far the young corner has had ups and downs, but has largely come out on top.

The good news for the Chiefs with this match up is that Jameis Winston throws a lot of interceptions. That should mean Marcus Peters will get plenty of opportunities to grab another takeaway. He missed on a couple of chances against the Panthers. I doubt he lets that happen again this week.
