Fantasy Football Wide Receivers – Number 15: Alshon Jeffery

2015 Stats: 54 REC 807 YDS 4 TDS (through 9 games)

Injury is the huge concern of this pick. Alshon Jeffery should be healthy this year and ready to play after being sidelined due to a hamstring injury last season. He started in the preseason opener catching one pass for 12 yards.

The upside with Jeffery is that when healthy he can disrupt a secondary. Injury has plagued the 2012-second round draft pick, but he has started in 51 of 64 games. Through nine games last season, Jeffery averaged 90 yards per game.

The upside with Jeffery is that when healthy he can disrupt a secondary.

Drafting Jeffery for the FLEX or second option at wide receiver is your best bet here. He has the talent to put up a career season but the uncertainty of lingering injury is still the question.

Really, it’s if you want to risk it. Jeffery is a great receiver, but relying on him as your number one might be a questionable decision. Proceed with caution.
