2016 Fantasy Football Tight Ends: Number 6 – Gary Barnidge

2015 Stats: 79 REC 1,043 YDS 9 TDS

Gary Barnidge had a breakout season last year, putting up great numbers in Cleveland despite the quarterback problems the team continues to have. This season, Barnidge will be catching passes from Robert Griffin III, and it seems Griffin will keep that job barring injury.

Griffin showed promise in Washington while he was healthy, but we all know how things typically go when it comes to Cleveland Browns football.

Gary Barnidge is Cleveland’s best receiving threat, so if he and Griffin can get familiar with each other and be on the same page, he can repeat his 2015 season, if not improve on it.

Some people see where Barnidge plays and shy away from the possibility of taking him because of Cleveland’s history as being a terrible offensive team.

Be brave. Pick him up. He won’t disappoint you.
