3.) Can they handle the pressure?

The Royals are facing an entirely different situation in 2015; They’re the top dogs this go around.

Last season, the Royals were the “cute little team” that made it into the playoffs and were a Cinderella story. This season has been a different story, but it should be after being crowned the American League champions the year prior.

The question that lingers out there is if the Royals can handle being the hunted this season.

The Royals started the season off with a 7-0 record but made enemies along the way. They pissed off the likes of the Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Angels, and Oakland Athletics, and it was made obvious early on that the Royals were public enemy number one to the rest of the American League.

Obviously all of that came for good reason, as the Royals have proven to be the team to beat all season. The question that lingers out there is if the Royals can handle being the hunted this season. Last year they knocked off the team with the best record in the American League Division Series in the Los Angeles Angels. Not only did they knock the Angels off, but they also swept them.

I’m terrified that the same thing might happen to Kansas City this time around.
