The following players will be competing, and got their first taste of action Tuesday night against Canada. Sophomore Devonte’ Graham and junior Brannen Greene are not on the roster due to injuries.


Perry Ellis — Senior, PF

2014-15 Stats: 13.9 PPG, 6.9 RPG – Candidate for 2015-16 Big 12 Player of the Year.

Frank Mason III — Junior, PG

2014-15 Stats: 12.6 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 3.9 APG — His point guard play could make or break the Jayhawks next season.

Wayne Selden, Jr. — Junior, SG

2014-15 Stats: 9. 4 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 2.6 APG — Must be more consistent this season to make a big impact with the team.

Nic Moore (SMU) — Senior, PG

2014-15 Stats — 14.5 PPG, 5.1 APG, 2.3 RPG — Has averaged 10-plus points and four assists per game all three years in college.

Julian DuBose (Florida Gulf Coast) — Senior, SG

2014-15 Stats: 11.6 PPG, 3.9 RPG — Was the third-leading scorer for the Eagles last season.

Jamari Traylor — Senior, PF

2014-15 Stats: 4.8 PPG, 3.7 RPG — Doesn’t have flashy numbers, but will outwork anyone on the court.

Landen Lucas — Junior (R), PF

2014-15 Stats: 3.5 PPG, 4.3 RPG — Averaged 7.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game as a starter the final seven games of last season.

Evan Manning — Junior, SG

2014-15 Stats: 0.6 PPG, 0.2 APG, 0.3 RPG — Son of Kansas Jayhawk legend Danny Manning.

Tyler Self — Junior, SG

2014-15 Stats: 0.3 PPG, 0.1 RPG, 0.1 APG — Son of current Kansas head coach Bill Self.

Hunter Mickelson — Senior, PF/C

2014-15 Stats: 2.4 PPG, 1.8 RPG — Had season highs of eight points and seven rebounds in a non-conference win over Lafayette.

Carlton Bragg — Freshman, PF

2014-15 Stats: None — Top 25 national recruit.

LaGerald Vick — Freshman, SG

2014-15 Stats: None — Top 50 national recruit.
