Pittsburgh has a hole at the no. 2 WR position. Markus Wheaton enjoyed a strong, coming-out party against the Browns with 6 receptions for 97 yards on Sunday.

Offensive coordinator Todd Haley likes to throw the ball around a lot, in particular, deep passes to WR’s. That makes Wheaton a good potential pickup with a productive QB like Ben Roethlisberget throwing him passes.

The caveat is that Antonio Brown has a firm grip on the no. 1 job in Pittsburgh, so Wheaton is unlikely to become more than second-fiddle in Steel Town. He is, however, owned in only 29.7% of ESPN leagues so he is likely available for you right now.

With a sub-par defense in Pittsburgh compared to their normal standards, Wheaton could put up some nice numbers from a no. 2 WR position.
