The best college football player in the nation will give any team an advantage, but when you pair that player up with other elite talents such as Connor Shaw and Bruce Ellington. People feel running back Mike Davis will join that group very quickly this season.

South Carolina has an abundance of talent and an Alabama-LSU-Texas A&M-less schedule. The key will be for the Gamecocks to be at full speed by week two when they play Georgia on the road. A win there and USC could cruise to an SEC East title.
