The Kansas City Chiefs made all of their fans feel much more optimistic, winning 26-10 against the Oakland Raiders in the Black Hole. The Chiefs ran all over the Raiders and it was glorious.

Alex Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs continue to own the Oakland Raiders. They won their fourth consecutive game against the Raiders, and Smith is now 8-1 against the silver and black in his career.

This was a pretty good game for the Chiefs, especially after they stunk it up against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football in week four.

The Chiefs had a lot of good in this game, but there was some bad and even some ugly for the team. Let’s take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly for this week’s game against *Chris Berman voice* theeeee Rrrrrraaaaiiidddeeerrrs.

Good: Alex Smith

As I just mentioned, Alex Smith owns the Oakland Raiders. He’s now 8-1 against them in his career and it was great to see him bounce back after a rough outing in Pittsburgh.

Smith was able to get back to the basics with throwing the football, only tossing 23 times and completing 19 out of those passes for 224 yards. He didn’t have a touchdown (though the Dontari Poe touchdown could have counted honestly), but he also didn’t throw any interceptions.

The KC Chiefs need Smith to have the season of his life in 2016 if this is going to be a team that makes it deep into the postseason this year. Smith showed he could bounce back and he once again dominated against the Raiders.
