The Kansas City Chiefs might seem like they know who is starting at most positions, but don’t be shocked if some guys come out of the woodwork to steal a starting job from someone.

The offseason in the NFL can be boring to the average fan. For one, there’s no football, which is a bummer. Average fans don’t necessarily pay attention to all of the newcomers on the team or to who could potentially be gunning for a starting position come opening day.

All of what I just mentioned are reasons why I enjoy the NFL offseason. I like seeing new guys come to town and compete for starting spots on the team.

While the KC Chiefs might appear to have a lot of guys for sure penciled in at certain spots, I thought it might be fun to look at five players who have the potential to dethrone the guys at the top, and steal their jobs.

Now obviously some of these guys are going to be rookies, but I sprinkled in some other younger players as well who happen to have some experience under their belts.

Let’s take a look at the surprise players!
