Week 8 of the 2014 NFL season is here, and that means it is time to take a look at those fantasy football lineups. This is my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em article where I try to help you make some tough lineup decisions, whether that means starting a players that normally doesn’t start for your team, or benching a player that is normally in your starting lineup.

Here are my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em picks from LAST week (some people in an earlier article commented and told me that I was suggesting to start players that were on their bye week. This is obviously untrue. This first page of my article is simply going over my picks from last weeks article and analyzing how I did with my picks. To get to Week 8’s start/sit picks just go to the next slide of the article).

Last Week’s Start ‘Em

45. . WR. Denver Broncos. Emmanuel Sanders. 5. player

Well, Emmanuel Sanders got into the end zone on the night his quarterback Peyton Manning broke the all-time TD record. He didn’t catch the actual touchdown where he passed Brett Favre, but he did get in the end zone on Sunday. He ended with 10 fantasy points in standard leagues, which means he was a pretty solid start in Week 7.

59. . RB. Miami Dolphins. Lamar Miller. 4. player

Lamar Miller looked pretty good against the Bears in Chicago. He got 18 carries for 61 yards and a TD and finished the game with 14 fantasy points in standard leagues.

player. 32. . QB. Arizona Cardinals. Carson Palmer. 3

Carson Palmer did decent in his second game back from a very serious neck/shoulder injury. He finished with 20 points in 6-point TD leagues, and was an average start at best in Week 7

Last Week’s Sit ‘Em

35. . RB. Tennessee Titans. Bishop Sankey. 2. player

For the second game in a row, Bishop Sankey was the main ball carrier for the Titans, and again struggled. He averaged about 3 yards per carry, and didn’t get into the end zone. He finished with just 5 fantasy points.

WR. Denver Broncos. Wes Welker. 1. player. 45.

Wes Welker got into the end zone for the first time this season in week 7. Again, his touchdown was not Manning’s big record-breaking TD (which went to Demaryius Thomas), but it was a big step getting in for the first time. He ended with 11 fantasy points, breaking ten for the first time in 2014

Overall, I would say I did pretty decent last week with my picks, but without further adieu, here is my Start/Sit for Week 8.
