The pass rush dominated the news in the early part of the season as the Chiefs recorded 35 sacks in the first 7 games. The opposition made adjustments, and the Chiefs pass rushers, namely Tamba Hali and Justin Houston, battled injuries and defenses schemed to stop them.
The pass rush came up short in the last nine games of the season as the Kansas City defense was only able to tally 12 more sacks.
