New England has been on a tear as of late in MLS play. They are currently riding a nine game unbeaten streak with five wins and four draws in their last nine including a 1-1 draw of Toronto FC on Saturday. Sporting will hope that they can catch New England on short rest and use the postponement of their game on Saturday to their advantage.
Sporting KC is currently sitting at sixth in the Western Conference standings with 14 points in ten games played. New England is currently second in the Eastern Conference standings with 19 points in 11 games played. New England Trails only D.C. United in the East who Sporting KC was able to draw 1-1 in their last match.
Sporting KC will be desperate for points as they begin a tough three games in nine days stretch that features games against New England, FC Dallas, and the Seattle Sounders.
Don’t be shocked if Sporting KC head coach implements a bit of an experimental lineup. The injury report for Sporting KC is crowded with five players listed as out, and three players listed as questionable.

Sporting KC also announced on Tuesday that they have recalled rookie defender Saad Abdul-Salaam from NASL side San Antonio Scorpions. Sporting KC will look to Jalil Anibaba and rookie Amadou Dia to step up and replace the guys that are injured or gone on international leave.
