Sporting KC: Academy Under 18’s Sign Letters Of Intent
College basketball gets most of the attention on National signing day, but Sporting KC Academy under 18’s also signed their letters of intent to division one colleges across the nation.

Sporting KC had seven players in total from the Sporting KC Academy U-18’s make their college commitments on Wednesday.
Andrew Blalock
The Blue Valley Northwest High School Product committed to Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. The young Goalkeeper will join former Sporting KC Academy players Steven Enna and Mason Leonard, and will compete in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Jack Freeman
Freeman is a Defender and a product of Olathe East High School. He has made the commitment to Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Freeman has spent time as a Left Back, but can also play Center Back.
Bryce Gibson
Gibson is a defender out of Lees Summit North High School, and is headed to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Gibson joins a stacked Creighton team that were the 2014 Big East regular season Champions. Creighton features former Sporting KC Academy product Eric DeJulio.
Ryan Krutz
The Blue Valley Northwest Goalkeeper will be joining the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana. Notre Dame were NCAA Champions in 2013, and Krutz will be looking to get them back to championship form. Sporting KC Defender Matt Besler is an alum of Notre Dame.

Moxley is a product of Olathe Northwest High School, and will be joining the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The young defender will be looking to help the Air Force Academy improve on their 7-7-4 2014 season.
Hector Solorio
Solorio is a Midfielder from Oak Park High School will be joining Niagara University in Lewiston, New York as a student athlete. He will be playing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Tucker Stephenson
Stephenson is a product of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and has made his commitment to West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. The young Midfielder will be joining Sporting KC academy product Joey Piatczyc at West Virginia.
The commitments will be celebrated in a special commitment ceremony on February 11th.
The Sporting KC Academy has been busy lately. The Sporting KC under 14 squad were crowned Champions at the Disney Showcase in late December.
The Sporting KC Academy is the future of the Sporting KC senior team, and it will be fun watching these players develop, and maybe even join the senior team through the MLS SuperDraft.
