Training camp is officially over and the Chiefs now must decide what players will make the final 53-man roster. Kansas City still has two preseason games remaining, but it's time to make difficult decisions about key position battles as the organization prepares for a three-peat bid.

Hollywood Brown's shoulder injury complicates matters at wide receiver, while breakout performances from players like Carson Steele have flipped expectations around at other positions.

Brett Veach, Andy Reid and the team's brass have until August 27 to trim the roster from 90 to 53 players. With that in mind, let's look at four Chiefs on the chopping block as everyone finally leaves St. Joseph, Missouri.

1. Kadarius Toney - WR

It was a bad week for the Kadarius Toney truthers who hoped he'd take advantage of Brown's absence to grab hold of a roster spot and deliver on his immense promise. After an inconsistent, injury-filled couple of seasons with the Chiefs, it now looks like he could be searching for a new team within a couple of weeks.

Offensive coordinator Matt Nagy declared that Toney must get healthy so the staff could see what he can do, but other receivers have clearly moved ahead of the former first-round pick on the depth chart.

Justyn Ross worked with Patrick Mahomes and the starters during the final days at camp. He's listed ahead of Toney on the team's unofficial depth chart, and his skillset is one the team's other receivers don't have.

Ross can high-point a ball in the red zone and snatch it out of the air over defenders, while Toney fits more of a gadget-type role similar to Mecole Hardman, Ross fills a different role.

Meanwhile, Nikko Remigio was working as the team's top punt returner and an active part of kick returns as well. Judging purely from the last couple of weeks of practice, Toney is in serious jeopardy of being cut.
