What makes these staff mock drafts fun is that none of us have any idea of what team is going to take what. To some of us, the Browns might have gone with Josh Rosen as the number one pick, others thought Sam Darnold deserved to go there, and Britt, who had the first pick, opted to go with Josh Allen.
The second overall pick seemed like a no-brainer with Saquon Barkley still on the board and arguably the best player in the draft. The Giants went with him, but some staff members thought it was silly to take a running back with the second overall pick.
Even without the Chiefs initially included in the first round, the staff debated heavily over whether or not they should trade up. Somehow, Vita Vea kept slipping and when he was there at the end of the round, we all knew the Chiefs had to trade into the first round and draft him.
