We couldn’t have a mock draft on a Kansas City sports based website and NOT have the Kansas City Chiefs trade into the first round and be a part of the fun. When Vita Vea fell from a potential top ten pick to the very end of the first round, the Chiefs acted quickly and locked up a prime talent from this year’s draft.
Some might argue that the Chiefs gave up an awful lot to land Vea, but he could instantly shore up the defense. If nothing else, remember this is fake, so I wouldn’t lose sleep over it.
Staff Reaction: Somebody call the cops! The Chiefs trade up and get a guy who could potentially be the best nose tackle they’ve had since…ever. An absolute beast with the speed and agility to play outside, but the power and strength at the point of attack to dominate inside. – Scott Steehn
