Kansas City Chiefs jobs are now available to applicants in KC area. Find out how to apply before all positions are filled.

Kansas City Chiefs jobs are now open to applicants residing within the Kansas City area.

This is according to a report by KMBC 9 News Kansas City on May 10th.

In the report, KMBC listed important information, requirements, restrictions, deadlines, etc.

KMBC had this to say about the available Kansas City Chiefs jobs.

"The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to hire more than 200 people for the 2016 season. The Chiefs said they need guest service representatives, wheelchair attendants, Fans First representatives, greeters, elevator operators and stadium services attendants. All candidates must be local and must be able to work all 2016 Chiefs home games, as well as other major events held at Arrowhead Stadium, such as college football games and concerts. The organization said the online-application process is open and will remain open through August, or until all positions are filled."

KMBC also specified that candidates for these Kansas City Chiefs jobs “must be local.”

One can only assume this would disqualify those who do not live within commuter distance of Arrowhead Stadium.

For those interested who are “local” and have no conflicts with the Arrowhead Stadium event schedule, it will be important to note the following.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

All applications for any of these Kansas City Chiefs jobs can only be submitted through the Kansas City Chiefs Gameday Employment Portal.

The full link to the Kansas City Chiefs Gameday Employment Portal is as follows: http://www.chiefs.com/gamedayportal.

I should clarify that I am not affiliated with the Kansas City Chiefs organization, but I did visit the website.

Once there, applicants can either log in or create an account to complete the application.

If creating an account, remember to click the link that says “Save” instead of “Return to Application.”

Otherwise, your account information will not submit and you will be forced to create your account again.

After creating your account, log in and then fill out the online application.

The site estimates that the application takes about 30 minutes to fill out, so plan accordingly.

Although the official deadline does not arrive until this August, applying as soon as possible will ensure availability in case the positions are filled more quickly than anticipated.

Those interested in applying should know where and how to do so after enduring my mundane explanation of the restrictions, requirements and processes.

I wish the best of luck to those who fill out an application using the Kansas City Chiefs Gameday Employment Portal.
