KC Chiefs News: 2016 NFL Draft Galore
KC Chiefs news is all about the 2016 NFL Draft and the two players that the Kansas City Chiefs have ended in three rounds so far.
For those NFL Draft nerds like myself, the past few days have been absolutely amazing. The draft brings in new talent to our favorite football team(s) and it keeps the sport going.
The KC Chiefs might have upset some people on Thursday when they traded out of the first round to acquire a few extra picks later on in the draft. The Chiefs then used the pick they got from the 49ers on Mississippi State’s Chris Jones.
Jones really should have been a first round pick so Kansas City got a steal early in the second round. They then went on to trade their other second round pick to acquire a third rounder, which they used to draft KeiVarae Russell, a cornerback out of Notre Dame.
The Chiefs going with defensive players with each of their first two picks isn’t surprising in the least bit. John Dorsey loves to keep the defense young and strong and this year appears to be no different.

It shouldn’t surprise any Chiefs fans that the team hasn’t picked up an offensive player yet. This is a team that relies on its tremendous defense to win it games.
