The Chiefs return from their bye week as favorites to win the AFC, though they'll face several stiff tests with a difficult second-half schedule.

We'll have plenty of Chiefs vs. Eagles coverage in anticipation of the Super Bowl rematch on Monday Night Football in Week 11, but let's take a larger look at the remaining games first.

Here are three bold predictions for the Chiefs as they attempt to win their third Super Bowl of the last four years:

3 Bold Chiefs Predictions for the Rest of the 2023 Season

1. Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice BOTH Finish With 1,000+ Receiving Yards

Kelce appears well on his way to his eighth consecutive season with at least 1,000 yards, pacing for 1,194 while handily leading the Chiefs in receiving yards. I see no reason to expect Patrick Mahomes' favorite target to slow down.

The bold part of this comes in the emergence of a new favorite target for Mahomes, the rookie second-round draft pick sweeping the nation.

Rice is only on pace for 714 yards, but I think he's in for a MASSIVE rest of the campaign. He jumps off the screen every time he's involved and we've seen his snap count steadily rise to a season-high 68% against the Dolphins.

Getting to 1,000 yards would require a big jump. Rice needs 622 yards, so he'd have to average just over 77 yards per game in the remaining eight weeks. I think he's up to the task.

This catch was a great sign for Rice moving forward. He leads all qualified receivers in drop rate (12.2%), though that wasn't a concern of his coming out of college. With a larger sample size, Rice's drop problem will decrease and he'll earn more of Mahomes' trust.

Rice only has more than five targets in two games this season. Considering he leads all receivers in yards after catch per reception (8.2), Rice should be a focal point of the offense.

By the end of the season, we'll all be wanting #4 jerseys for Christmas.

Kelce and Rice aren't the only pair of Chiefs that'll deserve praise, as you'll find out on the next page.
