There isn't a feeling in sports that compares to being in the Super Bowl and no one knows that better than the Kansas City Chiefs. Head coach Andy Reid & Co. will challenge for a third straight Lombardi Trophy when they face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, leaving time to tell if the Chiefs can make NFL history when all is said and done.

Most Kansas City players and coaches are more than familiar with being on football's biggest stage, however, this weekend will be several individuals' Super Bowl debut. While some debutants might crumble under the pressure, others have the opportunity to thrive beneath the spotlight.

With that in mind, here are three Chiefs who can make an impact in their Super Bowl debut.

1. Xavier Worthy, WR

Xavier Worthy was the Chiefs' first selection (Round 1, No. 28) at the 2024 NFL draft and it didn't take long for him to show why he's a perfect fit for the defending Super Bowl Champions.

The former Texas Longhorn thrived in his first season playing alongside Patrick Mahomes, converting 59 catches into 638 receiving yards and 20 carries into 104 rushing yards while scoring nine total touchdowns in 17 regular-season games. His ability to be effective as a dual-threat only earned him more playing time as the schedule continued.

Fortunately, Worthy hasn't taken his foot off the gas in the playoffs. The 21-year-old playmaker has caught 11-of-13 targets (84.6%) through his first two postseason appearances, turning those opportunities into 130 yards and a score.

Even though he might be feeling the Super Bowl nerves, Worthy must maintain his momentum this weekend. He's been one of the most consistent aspects of the Chiefs' WR room all year and stepping up in New Orleans this weekend would guarantee him a spot in the fanbase's heart for years to come.
