Sporting Kansas City: 2020 season off to promising start
Sporting Kansas City earned another three points after their 4-0 beatdown over the Houston Dynamo on Saturday night. We’re only two games into the 2020 campaign, but Sporting has had a great beginning to the season!
Another match, another three points for Sporting Kansas City, who poured four goals on Houston on Saturday night in the season opener at Children’s Mercy Park. The Blue Hell was rocking after the 16th minute when newbie Alan Pulido put the ball in the back of the net to give Sporting a 1-0 lead.
The good guys wouldn’t slow down from there, tacking on three more goals and shutting out the Dynamo. Roger Espinoza got on the board in the 26th minute and after that, it was a little quieter. That was until Gadi Kinda got his second goal of the season in the 65th minute to give SKC a 3-0 lead.
Last, but not least, Khiry Shelton put the nail in the coffin for Houston, scoring in the 77th minute and giving Sporting another three points to start the year.

Pulido and Kinda were the stars of the show in the season opener last week and the two newbies continued their hot start in their second game. They were able to put on a clinic for those who flocked out to Children’s Mercy Park and while we’re only two games into the 2020 season, no one is going to complain about the hot start the team is on.
