MORE TARGETS

Offensive linemen are rarely exciting picks, but definitely a need for the Chiefs. They don’t need a guy to be a starter right away, but they could use at least one more lineman to add to their depth chart. A couple of targets here could be Michael Jordan (no, not that Michael Jordan), a guard from Ohio State, or Hjalte Froholdt, a guard from Arkansas.

Due to recent events, I also wouldn’t mind the Chiefs taking another receiver. The Chiefs went with a speedy wide receiver in Hardman with their first pick, but could they draft a big bodied target late in the draft?

Lil’Jordan Humphrey and Jazz Ferguson have great names, but could be even greater additions to the Chiefs’ wide receiver core. Standing at 6’4″ and 6’5″ respectively it is easy to imagine Patrick Mahomes targeting one of these two wide receivers time and time again in the red zone.

Another good option that brings the best of both worlds with size and speed, is a 6’2″ local product out of Mizzou. I’m sure Mizzou fans would love to see the Chiefs draft Emanuel Hall if he fell to the sixth or seventh round.

The Chiefs’ defensive line has actually became borderline loaded over the past few weeks, so it’s hard to imagine a scenario where the Chiefs traded up for a defensive end, but Charles Omenihu is worth considering that for. I have been crushing on him for quite some time now and he could be an excellent addition to the Chiefs defense if they were willing to trade up early into the fourth round to grab him.

Others to keep an eye one would be guys like Cole Holcomb (Linebacker, North Carolina), Ethan Greenidge (Offensive Line, Villanova), Paul Adams (Offensive Line, Mizzou), Iman Marshall (Cornerback, USC), Darwin Thompson (Running Back, Utah State), and Jalin Moore (Running Back, Appalachian State) who have all visited with the Chiefs.
