Kansas Basketball live stream, TV, and notes vs Pittsburg State
By Joel Wagler
The Kansas basketball team will continue their exhibition season with a game Tuesday against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.
It’s finally Kansas basketball season! The Kansas Jayhawks will face Pittsburg State in one of their traditional exhibition preseason games against smaller in-state schools.
Of course, the Jayhawks played in four exhibition games this summer in Italy and put together another game, this time for charity, last week against former Big 12 rival Mizzou. Those outings go into the bonus game category.
KU will be looking to iron out whatever early season kinks the team may have, and hopefully gel quickly. These preseason games can often be a bit sloppy so don’t get too excited or too disappointed based on this game.

KANSAS BASKETBALL NOTES
The Jayhawks lost National Player of the Year Frank Mason III, plus the dynamic Josh Jackson and the stalwart Landen Lucas from last year’s squad. Those are big shoes to fill, but KU hopes Devonte Graham will step his game and make the same type of progress Mason did his senior season.

This Kansas basketball edition will start the season with only nine eligible scholarship players (Sam Cunliffe will be eligible after the first semester), and only four with more than 150 minutes of playing time at the collegiate level.
Hopefully, that inexperience will be offset by having two seniors in Graham and Svi Mykhailiuk.
KU has only one traditional big man on the roster in Udoka Azubuike. The sophomore only played in nine games last season before getting hurt.
While Mitch Lightfoot and Billy Preston are tall, they aren’t necessarily bangers inside. They might develop more of a back-to-the-basket game as the year progresses, but it may take a little while.
Kansas basketball has won 13 straight conferences regular season titles, matching the legendary UCLA teams from the Sixties and Seventies for the most ever. This team will need to avoid major injuries, and young players must contribute key minutes and production for the Jayhawks to make it 14 in a row.
As always, the Kansas basketball team has a chance to be very good this season and should challenge for the Big 12 title and another national championship. If you can’t attend the game, be sure to watch it on Jayhawk TV on Spectrum or the Kansas basketball live stream on ESPN3.
