Addressing Needs In the Draft: Kansas City Chiefs – Cornerbacks
By Kyle Hull
Jaire Alexander
A former third star recruit out of high school, Jaire Alexander displays unbelievable
talents at Louisville University.
Alexander is an All-American talent, though a downside to his game is his injury-prone attribute. Alexander is currently dealing with a knee injury. This injury has slowed him down, and even held him out of a few games so far this season.

The reason Alexander falls to the second round is due to his injuries in college. He may be a liability with injuries, but in my opinion he is worth the risk.
What makes Alexander so special is his versatility. He is able to not only be a lockdown corner on defense, but also a special teams threat receiving punt returns.
Alexander has an addiction to the ball while playing on defense, and he isn’t afraid to lay the wood, similar to Chiefs safety Eric Berry.
I would have to say Alexander is my favorite corner in this draft, and if he is interested in forgoing his senior year, I suspect him to be on the Chiefs radar.
Take a look at his highlights from 2016 to back up my bragging on Alexander.
Are you convinced? I am too.
