This was a sloppy win, but a win is a win. The Chiefs are 3-0 on the season, 1-0 in the division, and have now won their last 12 divisional match-ups. That’s impressive stuff.

More from KC Kingdom

Undefeated feels great, but it’s a long season. The KC Chiefs have to shore up their offensive line and stop getting penalties or they could lose some big games down the stretch. That’s unacceptable for a team this good that is looking to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender this winter.

The Chargers aren’t a bad team. I know they’re now 0-3, but they’ve lost close games. They could easily be 3-0 on the year, but they consistently find ways to lose. This wasn’t a good game for them, but their defense kept them in it for sure. The Chiefs offense wasn’t doing much after the first quarter and that’s a big credit to the Chargers defense.

With the Chiefs being 3-0, it’s easy to get ahead of things and start thinking playoffs, but hold off on that. It’s a long season and the Chiefs play in the toughest division in all of football. They’ll have to battle for the AFC West title and this is still an unproven team when it comes to the playoffs.
