KC Chiefs news consists all about the big playoff game between the Chiefs and the Steelers in the AFC Divisional Round on Sunday. The winner of said match-up will advance to the AFC Championship Game in Foxborough.
It’s here, Chiefs Kingdom! Game day has arrived!
Originally, we would have had a short wait come Sunday morning for the long awaited kickoff, but it was announced on Friday afternoon that the league would be moving the Chiefs/Steelers game to Sunday night due to the impending ice storm that is supposed to hit the Kansas City area on Sunday morning.
This game has been on all of our minds since the KC Chiefs clinched the AFC West in the season finale and now it’s finally here. If you’re not nervous for this game, then you’re clearly not doing this whole fandom thing right because this is a huge game for our beloved Chiefs.
Should the Kansas City Chiefs win on Sunday, it’ll be their first home playoff win since the Joe Montana days back in the early 1990s. That has to change and hopefully Sunday night will be that change.
The KC Chiefs have been all about overcoming history this season. They swept the division for the first time in over 20 years. They swept the Broncos for the first time since 2000. The Chiefs went 3-1 in primetime games this year and 2-1 on Sunday Night Football, a platform in which they used to be horrendous on.
The point being that if there’s any Kansas City Chiefs team that’s going to overcome all of the odds thrown at them for this weekend’s game, it’s this team.

There is no other way to put this other than that this is a huge game. Fans have been waiting for this game for two weeks now. It’s time for the Arrowhead faithful to show up and be as loud as possible… even with a scary ice storm on its way.
