KC Chiefs: Five Potential Landing Spots for Aaron Murray
With the news out of Minnesota, it’d be strange if the Vikings did not attempt to add another quarterback behind Shaun Hill.
Aaron Murray as a Viking could make sense, as the team just lost their starter for the entire season. They’re likely looking for a young quarterback to potentially come in and backup Hill. They did re-sign Brad Sorensen to their team after the news broke, but who even is Sorensen?
The only part about Minnesota that wouldn’t make sense is after this year. Murray would serve a purpose this season, but what happens when Teddy Bridgewater returns? That might be an area where a team like the 49ers could end up making sense.

Think about it.
San Francisco has two “meh” guys competing for the starting job. They could continue to let those two get after it this season, have Murray as maybe the third-string (or a backup some weeks) and then let him take the reigns the next season.
Of course, there’s always the option that the Kansas City Chiefs keep Aaron Murray to themselves, but I don’t see them keeping five quarterbacks on their roster, and they clearly see something in Tyler Bray. Also, Kevin Hogan is a rookie, so it’s doubtful that they cut him so soon.
That leaves Murray as the odd man out, and he hasn’t proven himself during the preseason. Will another team want him on their roster? Only time will tell.

As much as Chiefs fans wanted things to pan out for Aaron Murray in Kansas City, it just doesn’t appear that things are going to go that way.
What do you think, Chiefs fans? Could you see Murray going to one of these five teams?
